 Welcome to Central Oregon Community College. Central Oregon is a great place to visit and to live, and COCC is an outstanding place to learn and to work.
Matthew McCoy is the Vice President for Administration and has been at COCC since May of 1998.
Mr. McCoy's current areas of responsibility include Institutional Research, Institutional Assessment, Information Technology, Campus Services, strategic planning, legislative initiatives, legal issues, business and community development, regional economic development, public policy coordination, and partnerships development activity. Additional activities include managing institutional advancement actions for the college and Foundation as well as assisting with oversight of accreditation responsibilities, and various college budget activities.
Prior to coming to COCC, Matt was CEO for Pacific Accent Product Group, was Vice-President for Consumer Electronics Association in Washington, DC, and served as General Counsel for the Council of Institutional Investors. From 1987 - 1993, he served as Counsel to the United States Senate Judiciary Committee.
McCoy earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona in political science in 1982, and a juris doctorate from the University of Arizona College of Law in 1986.
